2018 show is done.

Thank you Centreville!

We are thrilled that so many of you came out to see our Christmas Light show for 2018! We sincerely hope you enjoyed the show. Unfortunately, the house has been dimmed until December. 🙁

We are already working on new songs and new props for our 2019 show. And yes, that means MORE LIGHTS! 🙂

Be sure to look for us out in the yard in November, when we’ll be starting to get things set up. Give us a toot as you drive by or feel free to stop and say Hi!

Check back here to see updates throughout the year.

Thanks again and have a blessed day,

Al and Donna

Merry Christmas!

The lights have been dancing on and in front of our house for a few weeks now and we are very happy that several people have taken a few minutes out of their busy schedule to come see our lights. Our show is running 6-9 Sunday – Thursday and 6-10 on Friday and Saturday evenings. So grab a hot chocolate and come on by. Make sure to bring the little ones!

When you get here please pull off to the side of the road and dim your lights to your parking lights or flashers. We have several signs letting you know to tune your radio to station 103.9, which is the station we are broadcasting on.

The last night of the show will be Sunday 01/06/19 so please stop by before then. If you have any questions or comments please send us an email. Our address is on the contact us page.

Merry Christmas from the Saunders family!

Lighting it up soon!

Hello everyone,

And don’t forget to grab some hot chocolate before heading over to see our lights.

Thank you Centreville!

Hello Everyone,

The Saunders family would like to thank everyone that stopped by to check out our Christmas light show. We hope you enjoyed it, and we want everyone to know how much we appreciate all the support as being the “new kids” in town.

Please check this site throughout the year as we will post updates on the progress of our 2018 show as it will will have new props and even more lights! As soon as we have some new photos and videos ready to go from our 2017 show we will post them on their respective pages.

We hope everyone has a very happy and prosperous 2018.

Merry Christmas from the Saunders family!

The show is up and running!

We are very happy to say we have our show up and running for 2017! We will be adding things as we are able so please stop by or at least drive by more than once. If we have a rainy day/evening we may not be able to run the show so if we are dark as you stop by we apologize for the inconvenience but ask to please come back on a dryer evening. 🙂

We hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah and a Happy and prosperous New Year.

Al & Donna Saunders

VA Mini 2016

On May 21st I attended the VA Mini expo/meeting in Ashland Virginia. It was a real nice gathering of like minded folks and as usual the pot luck lunch was really good. Paul Glancy from Paul’s bakery supplied us with delicious cupcakes and brownies. Several people got up and talked about their displays, including me! I showed the, new for 2015 show, bells I made out of PVC primarily for the song Snoopy and the Red Barron. Everyone seemed to like the bells and I showed two short videos of our display that several seemed really interested in. The organizer, Andy Anderson brought a PVC spiral tree that I was one of several that helped him set it up. Below are some photos of it and other items from the gathering. The folks at this show are real nice and I enjoy going every year.

Progress 2015, part 1

We are well on our way to completing the setup for this year’s show. We have a few more items to get setup and then we need to do a few more double/triple checks on the lights to make sure everything is working properly. Sorry we don’t have any pictures during setup yet but maybe over the weekend I can get some and post them. Please check back for another progress post.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Christmas Expo 2015

I was at the 2015 Christmas Expo in Fort Worth, TX from July 16th to 18th. This was my second Expo to attend and had a great time talking to other over the top Christmas decorators and learning so much from the instructors there. Everyone had a great time and several people even won some door prizes. They had a catered reception for us sponsored by Light-O-Rama. This is the company that supplies controllers and software for our show. I’m really looking forward to attending another Expo. Now I’m all pumped up ready to sequence some new songs. 🙂

Below are several photos I took while there.
